1. Services
CorHome coordinates home-modification and claim-fulfillment services involving insurance carriers, contractors, and injured workers (“Claimants”). We facilitate assessments, estimates, approvals, and project management related to approved claims. All work remains subject to carrier requirements and applicable contracts.
2. Eligibility & Submissions
- You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into contracts.
- Information you submit must be accurate, complete, and provided with proper authority.
- We may accept, reject, or request additional information for any referral or request at our discretion.
3. User Accounts & Contacts
If you create an account or provide contact details, you are responsible for keeping them current and secure and for all activity under your account or contact record. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security issue.
4. Intellectual Property
The Services and all content (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by CorHome or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
5. Referrals & Claim Records
When you submit a referral or form, you authorize us to:
- Create or update contact records for carrier adjusters, injured workers, and contractors;
- Create or update an internal claim record (“opportunity”) to coordinate assessments, approvals, and project steps; and
- Communicate with involved parties using the contact information provided.
By submitting information, you consent to receive service-related communications (e.g., scheduling, updates, invoices).
6. Estimates, Payments & Contracts
- All estimates, invoices, and reports are subject to carrier review and approval.
- Work typically proceeds only after approvals, executed agreements, and defined payment terms.
- Where applicable, contractors are paid under their agreements; CorHome is a coordinator and not a guarantor of carrier payment.
7. Third-Party Carriers & Contractors
Carriers and contractors are independent third parties. CorHome does not provide insurance and does not guarantee third-party performance beyond the terms of applicable contracts. Carrier decisions (including approvals and payments) are outside CorHome’s control.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices described there.
9. Disclaimers & Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CorHome disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CorHome and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages; or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, carrier decisions, or contractor performance. In all cases, CorHome’s total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid to CorHome for the specific claim giving rise to the liability.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CorHome and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your submissions, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in [Your County], South Carolina.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with the “Effective Date” updated above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
